We’ve launched weekly search monitoring
Until now, we worked with the links you sent us. Now we can find new copies ourselves and remove them before they pick up traffic.
Why it matters
A popular course or book doesn’t get leaked just once. Remove one copy and a week later a new one shows up on another domain. Tracking them down by hand is endless work that most authors simply don’t have time for.
How it works
- Together we put together a list of queries: the product name plus “download”, “leak”, “torrent”, “free” and the other words people use to look for copies.
- Every week we check the first pages of search results for each query.
- We review new copies by hand and file notices right away. You don’t need to approve each link: we set up the authorization once, when you sign up.
- Every Monday we send you a report.
What’s in the report
- how many new copies we found that week;
- which notices were filed and where they stand;
- which links Google removed and which it rejected, with the reason.
Pricing
Monitoring starts at $240 a month, which covers up to 20 queries and up to 300 notices. If there are more copies than that, we’ll quote it individually. You can start any day, and your first report arrives the following Monday.
To start monitoring, send us the product name and a link to the original. We’ll suggest the query list ourselves.
